About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Market Development Representative (MDR) to join our growing team in Carlsbad, CA. As an MDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by contacting physician offices and introducing them to Welby Health's innovative virtual care programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact physician offices via phone and email to schedule appointments for our Account Executives
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of Welby Health's virtual care programs, highlighting their positive impact on workload reduction, patient outcomes, and revenue generation
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the challenges faced by physician practices
  • Accurately track and record all sales activities in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads
  • Achieve or exceed monthly appointment setting goals
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve your sales skills and knowledge of Welby Health's offerings

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in an SDR/MDR role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of medical benefits and the healthcare industry
  • Ability to effectively handle objections and persuade potential clients
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare environment selling to physician offices is a plus
